Changes we made

We selected about 12,000 words and gave them provisional levels based on how often they appear in Taiwanese subtitles, added a list of Taiwan daily-life words, and removed proper nouns, character variants and garbled text. To keep VocaBound: Worlds suitable for everyone, we removed swear words, insults, crude terms and mature themes, deleted crude meanings from other words and marked those words with a caution note, and dropped example sentences that used any of them. We also preferred Taiwan pronunciations, added tone-marked pinyin and Zhuyin, shortened the English definitions, built a character list, and linked each word to example sentences.
