QUICK ANSWERS

Frequently asked questions

Can I learn Japanese in VocaBound now?

Not yet. Japanese is planned, not in development. Mandarin is the first world and it’s being built now; your votes decide which language comes after it.

When will Japanese be ready?

We don’t have a date. After Mandarin, the language with the most votes gets built next. Vote for Japanese, and add your email if you’d like to hear when its beta opens.

Where will the Japanese world be set?

We haven’t decided yet. Each language gets its own world, set in a place where that language is spoken.

Can I preorder the Japanese version?

Not yet. Preorders are for the Mandarin game. If you’d like to learn Mandarin too, you can preorder it now.

Do I have to give my email?

No. Your vote counts either way. Add your email only if you want us to tell you when a language you picked opens for beta testers — we’ll email you once for that, plus the weekly update if you tick it. Unsubscribe anytime.

Does it cost anything?

No. Voting and beta testing are free.
